The Kurdish and Arabic proverbs as a literal mirror technique of Iranian and Arabic culture have transmitted the cultural, social, and historical events of the two peoples to the next generations and have played a unique role in preserving the ancestors' thoughts and customs. Work, effort, and struggle are one of the important topics reflected in these proverbs and they have a valuable place. This paper seeks to compare the Kurdish and Arabic proverbs of work, struggle, and effort with a historical and descriptive-analytical approach and show the similarities between them. According to research results, work, effort, and struggle in Iranian-Islamic culture have a special place and they have always been introduced as a dynamic factor of society. Carefully, these proverbs can also be traced to the words and thoughts of the wise and the intelligent. Thus, these proverbs as a bridge between new and old generations transmit cultural, social, and historical propositions and components to new generations and encourage a work-oriented culture.
